MDOT to start M-35 culvert work
MARQUETTE — The Michigan Department of Transportation plans to start work today to replace a deteriorated culvert with a precast concrete culvert on M-35 over a tributary of O’Neal Creek south of Palmer.
The project is expected to cost $1.2 million and will require single-lane closures. An 11-foot width restriction will be in effect from Sept. 27 to Nov. 22, when lane closures are expected to cease.
Final paving is projected to be completed by June 10.
