MARQUETTE — State Rep. Sara Cambensy, D-Marquette, and Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel will host an Elder Abuse Town Hall at Northern Michigan University Monday.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Northern Center, formerly the University Center, at Northern Michigan University. Nessel recently announced a bipartisan Elder Abuse Task Force focused on developing strategies to mitigate the issue of elder abuse. At the summit, speakers will provide information about the task force, share available resources and discuss legislative issues impacting seniors in the community.
