State to host drinking water talks
MARQUETTE — The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy will host virtual town halls focused on safe drinking water.
The town halls will provide information to residents on sampling that is being done in communities throughout Michigan to test for lead in drinking water. Each town hall will include a presentation by staff from DEGLE and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and allow time to answer questions submitted online.
The virtual town hall for Upper Peninsula residents will take place 6-7 p.m. EST, Thursday.
To submit questions for the town hall, send emails to EGLE-TownHall@Michigan.gov.
