MARQUETTE — Several local roads in Marquette will be closed for the U.P. 200 and Midnight Run.

Washington Street from Lakeshore Boulevard to Front Street will be closed beginning 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

These roads will be closed beginning Friday: Washington from Front Street to Fifth Street, starting at 7 a.m.; Fourth Street to Bluff Street, 9 a.m.; Lakeshore Boulevard from Mattson Harbor Lower Park to Baraga Avenue, 1 p.m.; Lakeshore from Baraga to U.S. 41, 5 p.m.; South Lake Street, northbound lane only, 5 to 10:30 p.m.; Front from Baraga to Bluff, 5:15 p.m.; and Third, Spring to Bluff, 5:45 p.m.

All roads will reopen at 2 a.m. Saturday unless indicated otherwise.
