U.P. State Fair opens in Escanaba

This year’s Upper Peninsula State Fair runs through Sunday. The theme for this year’s fair is “Michigan’s 906 State Fair: Spreading Smiles Across the Miles.” Vickie Micheau, executive director for the Delta County Chamber of Commerce, said: “This is the eighth year that the U.P.
