Crash kills one in Marinette County

CRIVITZ, Wisc. — A one-vehicle crash in Crivitz, Wisconsin, on April 8 claimed the life of one man. According to Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller, at 1:37 a.m. that day, Marinette County Dispatch was notified of a one-vehicle crash on Louisa Street in the Village of Crivitz. The caller reported that the vehicle had crashed into a building. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Terry A. Dog park coming to Negaunee

NEGAUNEE — The Negaunee City Council approved a land use agreement at their last regular meeting in April, for the construction and maintenance of a dog park. A plan was presented to the city's Parks and Recreation Commission and Negaunee Planning Commission, both recommending its approval. The agreement was made with the Iron Town Dog Park, a not-for-profit group of community driven individuals wanting to provide a safe, welcoming, off-leash space for dogs. MARQUETTE — Starting at 6 p.m. Friday, the Upper Peninsula Land Conservancy will hold an Earth Day fundraising concert at the Honorable Distillery in Marquette.
