Time running out for Readers’ Choice Award

MARQUETTE — The clock is ticking to vote in The Mining Journal’s 14th annual Readers’ Choice Award.

The online poll which gives the area’s favorite businesses the opportunity to market themselves as the best in the community closes Sunday at midnight.

Readers are encouraged to weigh in on a variety of benchmarks for local businesses. Examples include what restaurant has the best service; your favorite hiking spot; or your favorite auto mechanical repair shop, bike shop, ATV dealer or car dealer — just to name a few.

It’s easy to vote for your favorites, Journal Publisher Jim Reevs said.

Simply visit The Mining Journal website at www.miningjournal.net and click the pink Readers’ Choice button on the right side of the page on a computer web browser, or — if using a smartphone web browser — scroll to the bottom of the page. You can also follow the direct link to the ballot at www.surveymonkey.com/r/RCAWARDS19.

“I encourage everyone to submit their votes to ensure the businesses that they like win this year’s awards,” Reevs said.

Businesses use the poll to gauge how they are doing serving the community, and those with the most votes in their category will be featured in a special section of The Mining Journal in June, as well as in our online publication.
