League of Women Voters to meet

MARQUETTE — The monthly meeting of the League of Women Voters of Michigan, Marquette County Member-At-Large State Unit, will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The LWV is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. For further information, email dthomsona@gmail.com.

The public is welcome to attend this and all monthly meetings. Meetings are held at the Peter White Public Library, lower level.
