Walk this way — the public is invited to celebrate walking in Marquette from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the corner of Mattson Lower Harbor Park drive and Lakeshore Boulevard. The North Country Trail Hikers Chapter of the North Country Trail Association will be there with a table to chat with walkers, runners and bikers using the Marquette Multi-use Pathway, also utilized by the North Country National Scenic Trail as it passes through Marquette. The celebration marks North Country National Scenic Trail Day.

Bay Ambulance Inc. — will celebrate 50 years with an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its facility, 116 Michigan Ave., Baraga. Events include a hot dog lunch, Jaws of Life demonstration, and a display of EMS tools. People are invited to help Bay Ambulance celebrate by donating blood during a blood drive at the open house.

Graveraet 90 — Marquette Area Public Schools Education Foundation invites everyone to attend the 90 Years Celebration of Graveraet School at 2 p.m. in Kaufman Auditorium. An interactive presentation will be given by Jim Koski followed by cake and ice cream in the Sidney Adams Gymnasium. A suggested donation of $5 supports scholarships.
