MARQUETTE, MI – Funeral services for Maria “Sophia” Sossi will be held on Friday, January 30, at St. Peter Cathedral. Friends may call at the Bishop’s Room beginning at 10:00 am. The Secular Franciscan Order will pray the Rosary at 11:45 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon in the Cathedral with a reception following in Cathedral Hall. Interment will be made in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Sossi, age 91, entered eternal life December 31, 2025.
