Gwinn NCMPL pool league hands out awards

The North Country Men's Pool League in Gwinn wrapped up its season with a banquet at the American Legion post in Little Lake on Saturday. Peak gymnasts compete at states

Girl gymnasts in levels 4 through 6 from Peak Gymnastics & Fitness competed at the Michigan state meet in Battle Creek earlier this month. While scores were top-notch all around, several girls had their best scores of the season. Redmen track & field team wins regional title

The Marquette Senior High School boys track and field team won the MHSAA Upper Peninsula Division 1 regional it hosted on Friday. The team scored 93 points, nearly 60 ahead of runner-up Sault Ste. Ishpeming named state all-academic

The Ishpeming High School varsity softball team earned academic all-state honors for its 3.55 grade-point average by Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association.
