30 years ago MARQUETTE — Marquette Senior High School swimming star Jenny Laughna ended her dual meet career Thursday night in typical fashion – leaving the competition in her wake. Laughna broke yet another team record while guiding the Redettes (10-0) to an undefeated season with a 121-58 victory over Gwinn. The MSHS boys (9-1) earned a 107-75 win over the Model Towners. Laughna swam a record-breaking 25.39 in the 50 freestyle and captured three first places.
