Bingo — American Legion Auxiliary Bingo at Post 349 in Little Lake is ongoing on Sundays. Early birds are at 1:30 p.m. and the regular session is at 2 p.m. The public is invited.

University Exam Study-Special Hours — 3-9 p.m. Peter White Public Library. The Peter White Public Library is offering special study hours for all students enrolled in university during finals week. Christmas Carol — Bruce Closser will perform a public reading of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church is Marquette. The reading follows a long tradition of public readings of the work, started by Dickens himself. Bruce’s father, Earl Closser, also performed readings of the work many times. The story, featuring the well-known characters of Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit and Ebenezer Scrooge, has become a Christmas classic. The public is invited and admission is free.

NAMI — The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Alger/Marquette offers confidential support groups and educational meetings for individuals living with mental illness, and friends or families living with an individual with mental illness. A support group will gather at 7 p.m. in the Baraga Place Conference Room, 129 W. Baraga Ave., Marquette.
