New cell phone scam afoot

MARQUETTE — There is a new cell phone scam making its way across the state of Michigan, including right here in Superiorland. According to the Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Township post, which has reportedly received several complaints from area residents, citizens receive a text message from someone claiming to be from the State of Michigan “DMV.” Spl/Lt. Negaunee City Band to play first summer concert

NEGAUNEE — Negaunee City Band plays the first of nine free summer concerts on Wednesday evening at 7:30 at the Performing Arts Center at the east end of Iron Street.
