Police arrest Marquette Commissioner Pete Frazier

MARQUETTE — Marquette City Commissioner Pete Frazier was arrested Wednesday for violating a personal protection order, the Marquette City Police Department confirmed today.

According to information obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, Peter White Frazier was arrested around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday. The location of his arrest was redacted in the document.

Detective Capt. Mike Kohler of the MPD said the information was redacted in accordance with the Crime Victims’ Right Act.

Frazier entered a guilty plea this afternoon when he appeared in Marquette County Probate Court.

Several Marquette City Commissioners were reached and declined to comment, deferring questions to City Manager Mike Angeli’s office, which also has no comment at this time.
