MARQUETTE – Winners were crowned in several Marquette County-based scramble golf tournaments recently.

Here is a rundown on several:

3-women at Wawonowin

Pam Caron, Lisa Lacasse and Karen McCorkle took top honors in a tiebreaker at the 3 Women Scramble held last Saturday by posting 68 at Wawonowin Country Club in Champion.

Coming in second in a count-back tiebreaker was Maegan Casey, Molly Lancour and Mary Bergman, also with 68.

Taking third in the championship flight with 69 was Kathy Gagnon, Jamie Schaut and Lisa Dionne.

In other flights, thes were the winners – first flight, JoAnn Poncino, Dawn Simkovski and Lynn Crosby, 74; second flight, Paulette Schwatrz, Vicki Sargent and Diane Makela, 77; third flight, Gayle St. Amour, Deb Olger and Sally Klowski, 77; fourth flight, Beth Christianson, Mary Beth Grady and Vicki Myers, 84; and fifth flight, Carol Etten, Deb St. Onge and Dianne Elmhirst, 89.

Couples at Marquette

Sue Micklow and Scott Erickson of Marquette shot 66 to win the 2016 Couples Scramble on the Greywalls course of the Marquette Golf Club last Saturday.

Runners-up in the championship flight were Karen Plaisier and Mark Clements, followed by Carley Saint-Onge and Mark Hangen, and Bob and Dagmar Raica.

In other flights, these were the winners – first flight, Dan and Karla McCutcheon, 70; second flight, Mark and Michelle Sellers, 73; third flight, Dale and Bette Immel, 78; fourth flight, John and Vickie Lobeck, 82.

2-man senior at

Wawonowin

Dale Bayer and Mick Coduti shot 65 to win the 2-Man Senior Scramble held at Wawonowin on Aug. 1.

Here are the age-group flight winners – 50-54 years old, Eric Luttinen and Don Kulju, 67; 55-59, Mike Nelson and Lee Woods, 68; 60-64, Dale Bayer and Mick Coduti, 65; 65-69, Ray Atanasoff and Ron Atanasoff, 71; 70-74, Irv Dieterle and Tom Fleury, 68; 75-over, Florian Kotechi and Dave Wernicke, 67.
