After several months of training at the Olympic Training Center at Northern Michigan University and Anytime Fitness in Harvey, each member of the Area 36 Special Olympics powerlifting team took home multiple gold and silver medals recently in their respective age and weight classes at the Michigan Special Olympic 2016 State Summer Games at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant.
