Northern Michigan University men’s soccer team hosting summer camp in July

MARQUETTE — The Northern Michigan University men’s soccer team and head coach Alex Fatovic will host its Summer Elite ID Camp.

High school-aged or older boys players who feel they can be prospects for NMU’s 2024 season and beyond, along with those interested in learning about possession-based soccer at the highest level, are encouraged to attend.

The camps to be held at the NMU Soccer Field or inside in the Superior Dome in case of inclement weather are on Friday, July 21, and Saturday, July 22.

The opening day’s session runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with two more sessions on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 2 to 4 p.m. Cost is $107 per day or $157 for both days.

Campers are asked to bring indoor and outdoor soccer boots, a water bottle, soccer ball, shin guards, snacks and change of shirt. Food won’t be provided.

Registration deadline is a week before the camp begins and can be taken care of online at https://nmu.universitytickets.com/w/event.aspx?id=2801&utm_medium=sidearm-email&utm_source=nmuwildcats.com&utm_campaign=NMU+Men%e2%80%99s+Soccer+Announces+Summer+Elite+ID+Camp&utm_content=89b35c1f-659b-4998-ac64-01ba0f81fbf5.
