MARQUETTE — The Negaunee Oldtimers softball team will make its return engagement to Marquette at 3 p.m. Thursday in a game to be played at Hurley Field.

Marquette won their first game this summer, 6-5 in Negaunee on July 10, for its sixth straight win in the series to take a 24-22 overall lead.

Marquette, sponsored by Fassbender-Swanson-Hansen Funeral Services, won at Gwinn 18-8 on July 15, and has looked at a second game in Marquette, too.

Negaunee has swept Gwinn this season, winning 4-3 at home on July 30 after winning 17-9 in Gwinn earlier that month.
