Recycling essential
To the Journal editor:
My husband and I recently took a tour of our Marquette County Landfill and Recycling Center. The tour gave us an up close and personal view of how the items we recycle each week are sorted and processed.
We realized how important it is for us to recycle items that would otherwise end up in the landfill. We are so lucky to have this facility here and I implore everyone who is able, to recycle and ensure a longer life of our landfill and a better environment for our future generations.
