To the Journal editor:

A recent letter to the editor describes columnists Cal Thomas, Rich Lowry, Michael Barone and John Stossel as journalists who attempt to be objective, unbiased and fact based. After a very good laughing fit, this letter follows.

These so-called journalists can’t hold the candle to Walter Cronkite, who was a man of integrity, unlike those cited by the writer. Rich Lowry, for example, decried socialism by giving examples of communist dictatorships, which is disingenuous as Sweden, Norway and other European countries are socialist within the accepted meaning of that term.

John Stossel pretends there’s no such thing as climate change, pointing to a think tank fronted by a woman with a bachelors degree in oil science (sic).

Cal Thomas is desperate to jam religion down our throats under the guys of morality.

The writer then goes on to ask why the Muslim Brotherhood isn’t a designated terrorist group. Why aren’t white Christian nationalist groups designated terrorist organizations? They advocate hatred, violence and so-called white supremacy.

Those bozos really take the Christ out of Christianity. Democracy does indeed die in darkness, especially for those with scales on their eyes.
