It is good to see so many concerned citizens submitting Letters to the Editor that question what is happening in our government every day. The only reason for hope for the survival of country is seeing American citizens stand up for the poor, women, children, Head Start, federal employees, our national parks, our public lands, the environment, Medicaid, Medicare, immigrants, people of color, veterans, teachers, the elderly, the disabled, free journalism and on and on. Who knows who or what Trump will target next? I’m guessing that all of us who speak out are on a “list.” So be it.
