To the Journal editor:

When a business goes above and beyond to provide great service, I definitely want to recognize them! The staff from Pizza Hut in Ishpeming went above and beyond on Thursday, Feb. 23.

A disabled woman that I know hadn’t received her home health care visit due to the snowstorm and roads. As she needs assistance getting food, she made a call to me for help.

Being more than a half hour away and snowed in myself, I called Pizza Hut (which is close to her house) and asked for their assistance in getting a pizza to her!

They not only had it delivered in 25 minutes, but the employee who delivered the pizza walked it into her living room (as I requested), but also grabbed a plate, napkin and beverage for her!

I was so grateful for the amazing service and so was the woman who received the delicious pizza!
