GWINN, MI- William “Billy Steve” Millman, a cherished father, grandfather, friend, and craft beer enthusiast, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on March 5, 1946, in Marquette, Michigan, Billy Steve lived a life brimming with passion, adventure, and love.

Billy Steve was a proud graduated Southern Illinois University where he earned his doctorate in Chemistry. His keen mind and analytical skills led him to a long and distinguished career with the Department of Energy. Throughout his career, Billy Steve made significant contributions to the field.

Beyond his professional achievements, Billy Steve was a master beer brewer. His love for brewing was evident in the unique and flavorful beers he created, each batch a testament to his creativity and expertise. He was an active member of the local brewing community, where his brews were celebrated and his knowledge eagerly sought.

He is survived by his loving children, Will Millman, Tom Millman, and Ali Killpatrick, who were his greatest pride and joy. He also leaves behind his adored grandchildren, Steve Killpatrick, Arya Millman, and Archer Millman. Billy Steve’s love for his family was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.

Billy Steve’s zest for life was infectious. He had an uncanny ability to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.
