MARQUETTE, MI – Paul Churchville, died peacefully in his bed of natural causes, on July 3rd, 2021.
He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on November 30th, 1947, to John Thomas Churchville and Irene May Rossel. He was the oldest brother to two sisters, Chris and Mary and brother, Richard.
He was the father of two children, John Erwin Churchville and Evelyn Irene Madih; and 5 grandchildren, Zahra, Charley, Salma, Rosemary, Liyana, and Samy. Arrangements were handled by Nie Funeral Homes, in Ann Arbor.

One of Paul’s proudest achievements was serving as the president of North State BMX, (now Marquette BMX), where he spent nearly two decades building the organization and was awarded the Presidential Award for Physical Fitness in 1992.
A memorial will be held at the Forestville Campground on Friday, August 6th, from 6:00-10:00. Bring a dish to pass, byob. There will be an open mic for music and sharing of stories.
