Lyle Edward Warner

Lyle was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on August 30, 1973, a son of the late Judith Ann (Paavo) and Ralph G. Warner.

Lyle graduated from Westwood High School, class of 1991, attended Northern Michigan University, and spent 4 years in the sheet metal building trades school. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #7 for the past 24 years, currently working as a journeyman. He was a master carpenter, who loved woodworking. The pieces made by “Ornery Warner” are outstanding and will be cherished.

Lyle loved hunting, hard work, the woods, and most of all his family. He believed happiness was the result of good hard work. Lyle Edward Warner, died with his boots on.

Lyle is survived by his soulmate of 21 years Summer Renee Mattila, a son Gage Riley Warner of Michigamme, a brother Robert (Kathi) Warner, nephews: Jake (Katrina) Warner and Chase Warner, and a great nephew Mason Warner all of L’Anse, in laws Theresa and Kim Mattila of Republic, an aunt Marina “Myrna” Middleton, along with many cousins.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents Ralph “Augie” and Judith Warner.
