Edward ‘Ted’ Peppin

CUMMING, GA – Edward “Ted” Peppin, age 77, of Cumming, GA, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in 1943, to the late Edward and Madeline Leon Peppin. He attended St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Cumming, GA and was a longtime member of St. John’s Parish in Ishpeming, Michigan, where he served as an altar boy in his youth. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marta Peppin; and brother-in-law, Allan Alanko.

We were blessed to have a Dad who was always supportive and loving. He cherished his family and friends near and far and was fondly known as “Uncle Teddy” by many nieces and nephews. He always had a warm welcome for anyone entering his home and never met a stranger. Ted enjoyed boating, gardening, horses, tinkering in the garage, Christmas, and telling a good story. He truly enjoyed his career at IRECO/Dyno Nobel for 38 years. He was proud of his achievements and the friendships made in his travels

He is survived by his children, Craig (Sherriee) Peppin, and Marne (Glen) Patana; siblings, Cece Alanko, Paul (Jonell) Peppin, and Michelle Balzarini; grandchildren, Cole Peppin, Cade Peppin, Clay Peppin, and Claire Patana; mother-in-law, Barbara Gomez; brother-in-law, Richard (Lori) Gomez; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. The services will be livestreamed https://www.youtube.com/user/ingramfuneralhome/live for those that are not able to attend due to the Covid-19 Virus.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that you make a donation to a charity of your choice or simply gather with your close friends and family, enjoy the moment together and raise a toast in memory of loved ones lost.
