Analise Joy Ebli

Analise Joy Ebli

MARQUETTE, MI – Analise Joy Ebli, age 28, of Chicago, passed away on March 23, 2020, following a brief illness. She will be deeply missed by so many.

Ana was born July 3, 1991, in Marquette, Michigan, the daughter of Rita and Tony Ebli. She was raised in Marquette, where she graduated from Marquette Senior High School in 2009. She attended Michigan State University and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2014 from Harrington College of Design in Chicago, where she specialized in sustainable design.

She was employed by Interior Design Companies for five years before starting her own design company. She had a gift of engaging with her clients and their families in a deep and authentic bond that allowed her to express their essence and heart in her work. Her work legacy is memorialized in the many homes she was honored to design.

The story of her career is an illustration of the degree to which Ana had dreams and pursued them with passion. She wanted to create. To make the world more beautiful. To leave a mark and to help make people happy. Ana always wanted to be in service to joy and igniting joy in the hearts of others.

Her laughter, sense of humor, smile and sparkling eyes spoke of that joy and she offered the world a flame of beauty and love and possibility. Ana was a writer, an artist, a poet, a dreamer, a world-changer, a wild-spark with a tender heart and an incredible force of energy to others.

Ana’s passion for fun, silliness and being free in nature shone through clearly. She loved traveling (Spain, Paris, Greece, New Zealand), reading, kayaking Lake Superior, cooking and dancing in the kitchen, walking her cherished dog, Moose and devoting her time to family and friends.

Ana cherished her role as a beloved aunt to three wonderful nieces who revered and looked up to her as an inspiration and a friend. Her love for them was deep as the crystal waters of Lake Superior, along the shores of which they’d play and laugh and frolic whenever they could. Her gorgeous spirit lives on in them and in her entire family, who will hold her in their hearts and minds forever. She is sorely missed and deeply loved.

Ana is survived by her parents, Tony and Rita Ebli of Marquette; a brother, Keith Glendon (Clair Macgregor) of Marquette; three cherished nieces, Keerin, Bella, and Elliott Joy Glendon of Marquette; 10 special cousins and 9 loved Aunts and Uncles; her beloved Goldendoodle, Moose; and many beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Gloria Ebli of Manistique, and Joy and Walter Kneer of Traverse City. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date as impacts from the Corona virus pandemic stabilize. We will all honor her every day in how we live our life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Peter White Public Library of Marquette, or Lake Superior Watershed Partnership.
