Shirley A. (Westover) Mitchell

Born January 1, 1935, in Saginaw, MI, to Elsie G. (Carp) Westover Samuelson and Harry J. Westover, she was raised in Little Lake, MI and graduated from Gwinn High School.

Shirley and her family moved to Colorado in the late 70’s where she worked for the Current Company until she was 74.

Per her wishes, there will be no service. Her cremation will take place in Colorado Springs, CO.

She is survived by her son, Mickey P. (Laura Gifford) Mitchell of Breckenridge, CO; her sister, Lois M. Salani of Marquette, MI; her sisters-in-law Nancy Mitchell of Clearwater, FL and Lyda David of Pittsburg, PA and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Mitch” Mitchell and her parents, Harry J. Westover, Elsie G. Samuelson and her step-father, John “Jack” Samuelson.
