Edward L. Davis

He was born April 15, 1948 in Marquette, MI to Robert and Sylvia “Eleanor” Davis. Ed graduated from Marquette Senior High School in 1966. On February 25, 1967, he married the love of his life, Marilyn A. Stambaugh, in Marquette, MI. Ed worked 31 years for General Motors prior to his retirement in 2000. Ed was an avid fisherman, and loved to fish the Yellow Dog River and the Dead River Basin when he and Marilyn would visit family in the UP. Ed also enjoyed playing cribbage with family and friends, and he loved his Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; 4 children: Amy (Michael) Davis of Columbus, OH, Paul (Chiyon) Davis of Grand Haven, Gregg (Jessica) Davis of Denver, CO, Glenn Davis of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Sharon (John) Carlson, Patti (Bill) Blemberg, Kay (Ron) Goodreau all of Marquette, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Gary and Bob Davis.
