Rosemary Ann Junak

Rosemary was born in Ishpeming on April 15, 1935 to the late Irving and Beulah (Deroche) Plankey. She was a graduate of the Champion High School where she earned the honor of being named Valedictorian. Rosemary worked as the office manager for Ely Township for 34 years.

Rosemary was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, shopping, going to lunch with her friends, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, she enjoyed going to watch many of their training camps in the summer months.

Rosemary is survived by her 5 children- Larry Junak, Debbie (Joseph) Racine, Michael Junak, Julie Pascoe, Lori Ann (Greg) Jeffers, sister- Jean Junak, grandchildren- Cory, Erin, Scott, Traci, Ben, Phillip, Rachel, Autumn, Brittany, Ian, great grandchildren- Skylar, Kelsi, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Stephen Junak Jr.

Rosemary’s family will greet relatives and friends on Monday July 16, 2018 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming from 9:30 am until the time of her Memorial Mass at 11:00 am with Rev. Fr. Ryan Ford as celebrant and Rev. Fr. Dan Moll as concelebrant. A luncheon will follow the Mass in the church fellowship hall.
