Susan V. Shaw
GWINN, MI – Susan V. Shaw, 70, of Gwinn, died Wednesday evening, October 18, 2017 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming.
Susan was born on December 28, 1946 in Gwinn, to the late John and Irene (Johnson) Barrett and was a Gwinn High School graduate. She formerly owned and operated a ceramic shop in Gwinn and resided in Montana for many years prior to returning to Gwinn.
Susan is survived by two children, Rodney (Julie) Shaw of Gwinn and Savannah (Brad) Cooper of Florida; four grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth Shaw, Mackenzie Cameron and Grace (Michael) McKee; one great granddaughter, Brynlee Shaw; also two nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Barrett.
Per Susan’s wishes, a private family burial will take place in Montana at a later date.
