Randy Michael Vadnais
WETMORE, MI – Randy M. Vadnais, age 64, of Wetmore, son of Oren “Bacco” Cecil Vadnais and Evelyn Marie (Schumacher) Vadnais, was born on September 25, 1952 in Munising, Michigan. He departed this life on July 24, 2017 at his home in Wetmore, following a three-year illness.
Randy graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School in 1970. After graduation, he worked with his father as a brick mason and belonged to the bricklayers local #4 in Marquette. Randy later worked as a refractory bricklayer and traveled throughout the states.
Randy was a dedicated member of Munising Moose Lodge #1386. He loved volunteering his cooking and organizing fundraisers. Randy enjoyed camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Charlie Richards, and sister Jeanie (Richards) Kolsin.
Randy is survived by his brother and sister-in-law – Ken and Mary Jo Vadnais of Mohave Valley, AZ; sister and brother-in-law – Janet (Richards) and Dave Krueger of Menominee, WI; aunt Erna (Vadnais) Raymond of Santa Maria, CA; long-time friend – Aaron Sears; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at the Munising Moose Lodge on Saturday, July 29, 2017 beginning at 3:00 p.m.
