Camp Molinare in Channing received the vote of the Dickinson County 100-Plus Women Who Care to be the recipient of the third-quarter donation. HOUGHTON — Copper Shores Outreach & Education has announced free Narcan training sessions aimed at equipping community members with vital skills to respond to opioid overdoses and save lives. They will take place on Thursday in Houghton and Sept. 23 in Baraga. Naloxone (Narcan) is a life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses. Chandelier Society receives $15,000 from KHF

CALUMET — The Calumet Theatre Chandelier Society’s project to replace a large chandelier that once hung in the auditorium of the theater received a generous donation on Thursday that puts the project a giant leap closer to completion. The Keweenaw Health Foundation provided a $15,000 check to support the Jim Enrietti Diamond Jubilee Chandelier restoration project.
