3-car accident in Dickinson County

NORWAY — A three vehicle crash in Dickinson County left a woman with minor injuries on Thursday.

Around 12:40 p.m., a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Loretto Township resident Dennis Saint Vincent turned onto U.S. 2 from Summit Road in Norway Township into the path of an eastbound vehicle operated by Teddy Gurgall, 84, of Hermansville, according to a Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post press release.

Gurgall was unable to avoid striking Saint Vincent’s vehicle and the collision of the two vehicles sent Gurgall’s vehicle into a third, stationary vehicle that was stopped at the corner of main street and U.S. 2, operated by 66-year-old Nancy Raiche, the release states.

Raiche was transported by North Alert EMS to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released.
