YooperFest to feature 14 bands

ESCANABA — A music festival known as Yooperfest is coming to the Upper Peninsula State Fairgrounds this weekend. A full docket of popular area musicians are scheduled to perform Friday and Saturday. In order of appearance, Dust Bunnies, Doozy, Pickstop, Peltier Brothers, Bad Timing and Stonewall will appear today, split between two stages. Saturday in the Park offers five bands over two nights

IRON MOUNTAIN — The 14th-annual Saturday in the Park returns today and Saturday with a full and diverse lineup of music and activities in City Park. "We're excited this year," said Caroline Sullivan, one of the organizers of the event that raises money for City Park. "We have a great line up." Admission for the two-day event is $15 for adults and free for ages 12 and younger.
