Suspect arrested after alleged assault, explosives possession in Marquette

MARQUETTE — at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Friday, the Marquette Police Department responded to a 911 open line where an altercation could be heard by the dispatcher. Upon arrival contact was made with the parties involved. During the investigation it was learned that an assault had occurred and the suspect had also been in possession of a device that was reported to a pipe bomb.
