MARQUETTE — The Big Boy Restaurant in Marquette, previously owned by brothers Phil, Aaron and Larry Stein, has been sold to a new company, Upper Peninsula Big Boy. “The Steins have operated this restaurant successfully for 26 years,” said Bill Pesola of Marquette, president of Upper Peninsula Big Boy. “We are delighted to purchase a business rich in the traditions established by the Stein family. We are acquiring an experienced, dedicated group of loyal employees.” Few personnel changes are planned, although Pesola said some remodeling will begin immediately.
