CHATHAM — When the 4-H club girls meet at Chatham, August 6-11, they will find an interesting study in fine arts awaiting them. Talks on pictures suitable for the different rooms of a house will be given by Miss Alberta Bates, home demonstration agent for Marquette county. A study will be made of the pictures and the artists who made them. Special emphasis will be placed on identification of pictures, interesting facts concerning the artists and the story of the picture. A large framed picture in colors will be offered as a prize to the highest scoring contestant. Each girl at camp will be given a reproduction of a famous art treasure in original colors, which she will frame while in camp and take home as a souvenir. This part of the 4-H camp program is being sponsored by the U.P. Development bureau.
