Caregivers workshop planned
ISHPEMING — Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a six-week in-person workshop, designed for the non-professional, informal family caregiver, will be held from 1:30-3:00 p.m. EST Thursdays, Aug. 13 through Sept. 17, at the Ishpeming Senior Center, 121 Greenwood St., Ishpeming. EPA grant will focus on brownfield redevelopment
HOUGHTON — InvestUP, in partnership with the Western Upper Peninsula Planning and Development Region, Houghton County Land Bank and Gogebic County Land Bank, has been selected for a $1 million Environmental Protection Agency Brownfields Assessment Coalition Grant to support redevelopment in the Western Upper Peninsula.
