On Feb. 28, 1926, Stanley and Marie Todish received a very special gift. The gift was their newborn daughter, Margery Ann. Margery grew up in Iron Mountain. She married Donald Small in 1948. They moved to Marquette after the wedding and Margery has resided in the family home since 1954. On Saturday, Feb. 28, her family and friends gathered to celebrate the gift of Margery. She was surrounded by five generations of her family and many friends. She even had a wonderful parade down Clark St. with police cars, a fire truck and an ambulance. Margery wants to thank everyone who sent cards and who attended her celebration. She is overwhelmed with the love she received as she celebrated this milestone. (Courtesy photo)
