ESCANABA – The Bay College Board of Trustees has received the resignation of Eric L. Lundin, effective Sept. 30. Lundin served Bay College with for nearly 18 years, bringing his insights and attention to detail, especially in financial and enrollment matters, as well as in the hiring of Bay College presidents Dr. Laura Coleman in 2006 and Dr. Nerita Hughes in 2023. Lundin’s term expires on Dec. 31, 2026.

At its regular board meeting on Sept. 24, the board appointed Cory Kuchenberg to fill the vacancy created by Lundin’s departure. Kuchenberg brings experience in the financial services industry as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Escanaba and previously as a Loan Officer at U.P. State Bank. He is also the owner of Great North Auto Wash in Escanaba, bringing additional business expertise as an entrepreneur. Kuchenberg holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lake Superior State University and is an alumnus of Bay College.
