MARQUETTE — Melissa Wilson of Marquette, regent of the Onagomingkway chapter, NSDAR, awarded anniversary certificates to two members at the monthly chapter meeting held at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

Alex Kirsenlohr of Kingsford received her 10-year certificate while her sister Vicky Kaplewski of Florence, Wis. received hers for 20 years of membership. Both women trace their lineage back to Selah Sage, a private from Massachusetts who fought in the American Revolution.

The Onagomingkway chapter, which serves the western portion of the Upper Peninsula through patriotic, educational and historical preservation projects, will celebrate its own 20-year anniversary in May.
