Trillium House supported by fundraiser

MARQUETTE — The Superior chapter of the Harley Owners Group and Bald Eagle Harley Davidson of Marquette will host its first annual Benefit Bike Night on Tuesday at the Crossroads Restaurant and Lounge (900 County Road 480, Marquette, Michigan) to benefit Trillium House.

The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. and feature specialty food and drinks from the Crossroads as well as silent and live auctions conducted by Pierre Ogea Entertainment.

Top prize is a Traeger grill complete with accessories donated by the Trillium House Board of Directors and Household Appliance. Entrance is by donation ($10-25 recommended) and open to the public. Bike clubs are encouraged to coordinate rides to the event.

“We’ve had club members who have benefited from the incredible community support Trillium House provides and wanted to support Trillium in some way,” said Carol Seger, director, Superior Chapter H.O.G. “We encourage everyone to come out for some good food, wonderful prizes, and a great time to support Trillium House. Every bit helps to ensure these services are available to the community.”

In addition to the Superior Chapter H.O.G., special sponsors for the event include Crossroads Restaurant and Lounge, Bald Eagle Harley-Davidson, Embers Credit Union, Household Appliance and Oberstar among other community supporters.

“This is the first bike night we’ve had in a while since we began hosting them several decades ago. We are excited to have the clubs and community out and to support Trillium House,” said Nick Bazinette, Crossroads owner. “For those coming out, be sure to order our featured Trillium House dinner special: a smoked brisket BBQ, mac and cheese you won’t find on our regular menu. A portion of the sales of this meal will go directly to Trillium House.”
