MARQUETTE — From 5:30-8 p.m. May 21, the annual meeting of the Sister Cities of Marquette will take place, at the Peter White Public Library Community Center.

This meeting is where the organization’s business is presented to the group. This short meeting allows members the opportunity to be part of the decision making for the group.

A catered meal will be provided; thus, reservations are a must. The presentation by the Marquette Area Sister Cities Program will discuss both cities of Hiroshima, Japan and Kaajani, Finland. The history and background, trips, events, current activities and future programs will be explained. Come, especially if you are interested in participating in these wonderful travel opportunities.
