Cemetery effort was successful
To the Journal editor:
A few months ago, veteran’s organizations conducted a petition drive to present to Michigan legislators that we need a veteran’s cemetery in the Upper Peninsula. Two would be ideal.
I am pleased to say that the petition drive went well. They have hired a person to get the project started.
