Fox, wolves to be discussed

MARQUETTE — From 1:30-3 p.m. May 2, the Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present Ecology of Coyotes and Foxes at the Peter White Public Library Community Room.

Ecology and the preferred habitat of coyotes and foxes in the Upper Peninsula will be discussed. In Michigan, we have both gray foxes and red foxes. Red foxes have a higher tolerance to urban areas, so they are more likely to be seen.

Presenter: Cody Norton, wildlife specialist. $5 members, $10 nonmembers. Liaison: Beverly Braden 906-475-4252 bbraden@consultant.com. Event limit: 50.
