MARQUETTE, MI – Robert J. Mathews, 94, died on February 2, 2023 and Estelle Mathews, 91, died on February 4, 2023 in Marquette at Michigan Veterans Home, D.J. Jacobetti.
The Mathews and Savitski families will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, June 8th beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Big Bay until the time of a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the church at 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Msgr. Michael Steber officiating. A luncheon will be served at the Thunder Bay Inn in Big Bay immediately following the Mass. The Rite of Committal with military honors will take place on Friday, June 9th at 2:30 p.m., in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Marquette.
