NEGAUNEE — The City of Negaunee Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed temporary campground.

The Negaunee Firefighters Association applied for a special land-use permit for a temporary campground for the firefighters tournament from July 28-30. The campground would be located near the new Negaunee Public Schools softball fields.

The hearing is scheduled at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Negaunee Senior Center during the planning commision’s regularly scheduled meeting.
