GWINN — Nominating petition forms are available at the Forsyth, Sands, Skandia, and West Branch township offices as well as the Marquette County Clerk’s Office for two positions on the Gwinn Area Community Schools Board of Education.

The vacancies are for two six-year terms beginning Jan. 1 and ending Dec. 31, 2028

An affidavit of identity and completed petition form must be submitted by 4 p.m. July 26 to the respective township office or Marquette County clerk. At least six valid elector signatures are required, with a maximum of 20, and each petition form must contain signatures from one township only.

A $100 nonrefundable filing fee may be filed in lieu of a petition.

The school election will be held on Nov. 8.
